Early delivery…

*Note: can’t write long — feeding cycles are taking more time — about 2 hours each, which means we’re down to about 1 hour of break between cycles before we have to start everything over again. Luckily they are sleeping slightly longer at night, so although we aren’t accomplishing anything other than caring for them during the day, at least we are mildly better rested when we do it (I think I had close to 5 hours of sleep last night!).*

Today is my due date. But instead, on Tuesday, Jordan and Sarah turn 6 weeks, and I go in for my 6 week post partum check in. Wild, huh?

We are supposed to adjust their age based on their due date, and I’m sure we’ll use that trick to our advantage when we need to excuse them in some way or another. I know parents are biased, but they seem closer to 6 weeks old to me than to 1 day old. both in looks and behavior (though not yet size — Jordan is now about 7 pounds, approaching average weight at birth, and Sarah is getting close to 5 1/2, the minimum to not be considered low birth weight at birth).
